Senior Project Associate 

Numbers:

Duration: 6 months (extendable)  

Job Description: Research on the processes and outcomes of pre-draft and post-draft consultations for making the upcoming national STI policy. If required, support the post-draft consultation through online platforms. The candidate would also be expected to support the Centre and associated partners with various events and activities related to the broad areas of STI policy.  

Necessary Qualifications: PhD in Science/engineering/STI policy or related areas.  

Or  

Master’s degree in Science/engineering /STI policy or related areas with at least 4 years of experience of working in the relevant fields  

Desirable Criteria: Good communication skills to engage with different stakeholders. Editorial skills. Organisational skills. Experience in policy research. 

 

Project Trainee 1: 

Numbers:

Duration: 3 months (extendable) 

Job Description: Support STI policy-related activities of the Centre and its partners through online platforms. Trainees are expected to work with staff members to support the Centre in various events and other activities related to STI policy.  

Necessary Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Science/engineering/STI policy or related areas. The candidate should demonstrate an interest in STI policy.   

Desirable Criteria: Good language and communication skills. Familiarity with online communication and social media platforms. Organisational skills.  

 

Project Trainee 2: 

Numbers:

Duration: 3 months (extendable) 

Job Description: Support STI policy-related activities of the Centre especially in relation to data analysis and use of statistical tools for Quantitative analysis.  

Necessary Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering with expertise in data analysis. The candidate should demonstrate an interest in STI policy.   

Desirable Criteria: Expertise in platforms and tools like R, Stata, or SPSS. Experience in Quantitative analysis for policy research.  

 

Note: These are full-time positions. Work from home is encouraged for all these positions. The number of final selected candidates can be different from the advertised positions. Remuneration would be on par with the DST norms.
