Description of the Project: The study of supply chain mechanisms required for assimilating feedstock for second generation bioethanol plants in India.
Job Description: The candidate would be involved in data gathering through web research as well as interview with multiple stakeholders (a majority of which will be farmers, farmer-producer organizations and local entrepreneurs).
Necessary Qualifications: M.Sc./M.Phil. in Environmental Sciences, Science Policy, Economics and other biological sciences. The candidate must have strong inclination for field based research and capability to have a constructive dialogue with different stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications: Good language skills in English and at least 2 other Indian languages (Hindi, Punjabi, Kannada, Marathi), experience in doing interdisciplinary or science policy research.
Description of the Project: Scientometrics study of global R&D system for bioenergy (with special emphasis on second generation bioethanol and India).
Job Description: The candidate would be involved in quantitative data collection, assimilation and analysis.
Necessary Qualification: M.Sc/M.Phil in Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences, Biochemistry, Data Sciences, Science Policy, Economics, and other biological sciences. The candidate must have good experience of working with tools such as Web of Science, Incites, patent databases and a substantial understanding of bioenergy domain (that include processes of bioenergy production and distribution).
Desirable Qualifications: Good programming skills, experience of working on science policy projects.
