Ms. Rani is a Project Assistant at DST- Centre for Policy Research at Indian Institute of Science, Bangaluru. She is part of the Centre’s Scientometrics team which focus on developing a methodology for data-collecting and a general framework for studying the research performance of Indian institutions in various scientific disciplines. Previously, she was pursuing a research internship with the Centre, during the summer of 2017 and received training on Scientometric tools and analytical methods. She graduated from Jain Institute of Technology, Davangere (Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum) with a Bachelor of Engg. degree in Computer Science and Engineering. She has a keen interest in data analytics, mining and visualization and their applications in Scientometric Analysis. She has completed a certificate training program on “Business Analytics and Data Mining Modelling using R” offered by NPTEL and participated in various workshops and seminars related to STI policy and data analytics.
